Last week, Dr. Alex Wilson and Sylvia McAdam presented alongside Dr.David Fortin from Architects Against House Alliance at the “Rethinking Quality Housing Design” event held at the University of Manitoba hosted by the Architecture department. There were several members from Big River First Nation as well as members of York Landing First Nation in attendance that participated in the breakout sessions in the morning and afternoon. Professor Lancelot Coar did a brief tour of the C.A.S.T. building where they held a workshop the week prior. Showcased was a well designed poster that will be presented at the Biennale Architettura 2023 in Venice, Italy where the OHMN team will be presenting to the international architecture community in May.
